Tour Itinerary of Hunza Skardu Tour Package
Guests will arrive in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. After a meet and greet, they will be transferred to the hotel. A half-day city tour will follow, where we will visit Faisal Mosque and Pakistan Monument. In the evening, dinner will be organized in Islamabad.
Today, we will begin our trip to Gilgit Baltistan. The drive from Islamabad to Gilgit Baltistan is 600 KM and offers beautiful landscape views. We will spend our first night in Chilas to rest during the journey. Chilas is a small town in Karakoram, where we will see the local life in this part of Pakistan.
After breakfast, we will head to Skardu. Skardu is the capital of Skardu District and the Baltistan Division, located at about 2,500 meters in the Skardu Valley, where the Indus and Shigar Rivers meet. It is a popular spot for tourists from all over the world. Once we arrive in Skardu, we will explore Shangrila Lake and Upper Kachura Lake. These stunning lakes draw thousands of visitors yearly due to their clear waters and breathtaking scenery. We will enjoy boating on Lower and Upper Kachura Lakes, sightseeing, and photography. Later, we will drive back to Skardu for an overnight stay.
We will travel to Shigar Valley today. After breakfast, we will head out to Shigar Valley. We will stop to explore the Cold Desert, where you can enjoy bike riding and paragliding. Take in the beautiful views of Blind Lake and Sarfaranga Desert from a distance. We will visit the old town of Shigar and the historic Shigar Fort. You will have some leisure time in the serene lawn of Shigar Fort. We will also visit Amburiq Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Baltistan. Afterward, we will drive back to Skardu for dinner and spend the night there.
Today, there are more exciting places to explore. After breakfast, we will head to Manthoka waterfall and Khaplu, the second-largest kingdom in old Baltistan under the Yabgo dynasty. We will stop at the meeting point of the Shyok and Indus Rivers. Enjoy the views near the waterfall before continuing to Khaplu. In Khaplu, we will tour the old town and see the well-known Khaplu Fort, built in the mid-19th century. We will also visit the famous Chaqchan Mosque, which is 600 years old. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Khaplu.
After breakfast, we hike for two hours to reach Organic. After that, we will drive to Sadpara Lake to take in the views. Next, we will explore Skardu’s local market to do some shopping. Finally, we will return to the hotel for some free time. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Skardu
We will travel to Hunza Valley today, which takes about 5 hours and 10 minutes. We will stop at the Rakaposhi viewpoint to enjoy the sights. Once we arrive in Hunza, we will explore Altit Fort, Altit Village, and the Royal Garden, once the residence of the Hunza state’s rulers. After that, we will visit the local market in Karimabad to shop and meet the locals. We will have dinner and spend the night in Hunza.
We will spend the day discovering Gulmit and Passu villages, paying special attention to the local culture. This includes visiting a women-run carpet workshop and enjoying lunch at a local home. In the afternoon, we will hike to Ondra Polygah for stunning views of the valley. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Gulmit.
After breakfast, we will head to the stunning Attabad Lake, a wonderful spot for families and friends. Its beautiful blue water offers a unique view. Then, we will return to Karimabad to explore Baltit Fort, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative list since 2004. Next, we will drive to Eagle Nest to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the mountains and take in the panoramic view of Hunza Valley. Afterward, we will return to Hunza for some free time to check out the local market. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Hunza.
We will head to Besham after breakfast. We will stop at The Three Mountain Junction and the Nanga Parbat View Point. There will be brief stops on the way back. Finally, we will arrive in Besham and stay overnight there.
Today is our final day in the mountains. After breakfast, we will travel to Islamabad, stopping to do sightseeing and take photos. Once we reach Islamabad, we will check into the hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we will head to Lahore, with brief stops. We will arrive in Lahore and have the option to attend the flag ceremony at Wagah Border in the evening, with a possible visit to Shalimar Garden on the way. After the ceremony, we will explore a local market. We will spend the night in Lahore.
Our sightseeing day in Lahore will start after breakfast. We will see Masjid Wazir Khan, Shahi Hammam, Badshahi Mosque, and Lahore Fort. We will also check out the lively street culture, colorful bazaars, the old handicraft market, historical buildings, and the old gate, among other attractions. We will spend the night in Lahore.
After breakfast, we will head back to Islamabad. Our first stops will be the Katas Raj Temple and the Khewra Salt Mines. The Katas Raj Temples, or Qila Katas, are a group of Hindu temples linked by walkways: the Khewra Salt Mine, the second largest salt mine in the world. We will explore all the attractions before arriving in Islamabad. We will spend the night in Islamabad.
After breakfast, we will drop off you to Islamabad Airport. (End of Services)
